 HI Everybody IVE been IN shed grafting an R6 shock to the FZ BUT DUE to Weight of ME and Bike I need a HARDER spring . Anyone got Contacts PLEASE . Hope Ken Tattie Racing Or Mr Broon might HELP here . Later Colvin

Well get the spangle grinder oot and go radge with it and chop of any shi73 that you dont need.Go on the the auld Slimfast and prunes diet(works wonders).Seriously junk asmuch stuff as possible fit a fibreglass race seat,get Dove to make a preload spacer and stick it between the spring and adjuster(the same way you used to to put mk2 escort wheel nuts in the front forks).The main thing is to get the bike as light as possible.

The way the bike sags i would need a spacerabout 4 inch long thats 100mm in new money . will look at demon tweaks ta. How's project Kwakasaki gipized comin along . Team Splinty visiting today so not in SHED yet . Cheers for now Colv

WAS THINKIN OF USIN SCAMMEL WHEEL NUTS AS THEY GET BIGGER IN COLD AND WET WAS ALSO TOLD TO LIGHTEN AND WELD CRANK BUT GRINDER SLIPPEDAND NOW GOT 2 TWIN CYLINDERS . DO YOU THINK IT'LL QUALIFY FOR MINI TWINS . ATLEAST ITS LIGHTER NOW .

Am wondering if Ken Tattie any gid wi an abacus or Hollies Vtech to work out what weight new spring should be .......Standard R6 is 96N/mm 0r 545lbs . Given Ma size and weight O' FZ .....HOPE can get one . Nae cheeky answers Mr Broon

hi colvin,dont think they make a spring that heavy duty a spring from a buffer of a loco motive might do (only kidding) thought you had a gsxr for next year or you changed you mind |
